Principals' Learning Community
DEEP and CRLP convene with principals regularly to observe, reflect upon, and improve early reading instruction in schools.
TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
In September 2021, San Diego Unified approved a 2-year agreement with DEEP to train 50 teachers and 4 literacy coaches at our partner schools in research-based early reading practices. Each one of our partner schools has a full time Literacy Coach and 100% of K-3 teachers get foundational training and ongoing support in evidence-based practices in literacy instruction.
